For the past four years, I have taught at an after-school program in Reservoir Hill in Baltimore City. I began documenting my connections with my students on 35 mm color film during the spring of 2014. The project grew into a documentation of these wonderful children and their hopes and dreams for their futures as well as their past experiences and assumptions about the world around them. In my book "Becoming Miss Jenna," I address my most fond memories and deep thoughts about my students.
